While price should not be the only factor in deciding on a home inspector, I try to limit my charges to fair, reasonable limits while still showing the value of the service. The old saying, "You get what you pay for." is usually true. My inspection fee is based on the TOTAL square footage of the home (not just living space), including garages, patios, pool decks, and crawlspaces.
As a small, owner-operated business, I will travel wherever I am asked. I routinely serve all of Osceola, Orange, Brevard Counties, as well as most of Lake and Polk Counties. I have inspected homes in West Palm Beach and as far south as Weston, or as far north as The Villages. FOr any location further than a 75-miole travel (one way), I do charge an extra fee.
I do. I charge a $75 re-inspection fee (per inspection issue) that covers my time and travel to the home, however if I have other work in that area, I am willing to negotiate that fee. Once the re-inspection is done, I can update any reports.
YES! There is no such thing as a perfect house. I can help spot any potential surprises and help you understand your new home.
I accept cash, checks, money orders, debit/credit cards and other electronic payment such as CashApp, Zelle, and Venmo. Payment is due at the time of inspection.
